FAQs

What are the preferred numbers for this trip, Do you have any required ratios?

We do require a minimum number for this trip of 20 students. The museum requires a ratio of 1 adult : 6 children. They can accommodate up to 40 people including teachers.

Can we do an additional activity on both days of our sleepover?

Absolutely! We can arrange additional activities such as visits to museums like Portsmouth Historic Dockyard & Fort Nelson or more adventurous activities like archery at Fort Purbrook and visits to the top of the Spinnaker Tower.

Will we be the only school staying at the museum? Why do we have to leave by 8am?

You will get exclusive access to the museum, meaning you’ll be the only school/ party on site. As the museum is such a popular attraction to the public, we do need to leave by 8am so the volunteer staff can tidy up and open up for their usual operations. The trip doesn’t have to end then, we can always add additional activities in such as visits to Chichester cathedral or a viewing at the Mayflower Theatre.
